Integumentary System
Reflection:
This activity was one of my favorite projects this year in STEM biology. I enjoyed researching my chosen human body system with my group, and I especially loved how our teamwork allowed my group to finish our model even when we felt overwhelmed. There was some difficulty with my group in figuring out how to represent the functions of the Integumentary system. We didn't want to go too simple, but it was hard to find a balance between uninteresting and impossible to complete. My group also did a wonderful job of facing the unexpected changes announced almost immediately before our model was due. This included a poster and a new grading template. Fortunately, we were able to adapt. I also enjoyed presenting our model, it was satisfying to be able to finally show how much I had learned about the Integumentary system. In the course of completing our model and presenting it, I gained some more insight into my own strengths and abilities as well as gaining new knowledge and skills.
